tetraPROBE is a neural microprobe, based on a flat polymer needle with an exposed Platinum multi-electrode arrangement. tetraPROBE provides a minimally invasive and customized solution for neural activity recording in in-vitro or in-vivo applications. The polymer is SU-8, whose biocompatibility for 1 and 3 month-long implants is similar to Si and W probes. Extensively proven in neural stimulation and recording in rats.
